Ty Toys have been around since the 90s, and I’m sure we all remember owning a classic Beanie Baby at some point in our lives! Here at Toy Street, we stock a huge range of Ty toys from different collections – so let’s find out some more about them!

Ty History

Since Ty was founded in 1986 by Ty Warner, it has become a huge plush toy manufacturer. The most popular toy to come from Ty to date is the Beanie Baby. Beanie Babies evolved into the world’s first cuddly toy sensation in 1995! People began collecting the toys and some thought that they would one day be worth hundreds. Sadly, that wasn’t the case; but there is the odd beanie baby that can go for around £80 on eBay. Even to this day!

Ty toys are super comfortable and cosy as they are made from soft material and are therefore perfect for children (and adults, we don’t judge!). Each Ty toy has its own name and a short poem printed on its heart-shaped tag, making each and every one unique.

Beanie Babies

Beanie Babies have been one of Ty’s most popular toys since they were introduced in 1993. There are hundreds of Beanie Babies styles, so there’s something to suit all preferences – including characters like Peppa Pig and Flopsy Rabbit. Beanie Babies Characters are collected by people of all ages! There’s also a range of Beanie Buddies, which are larger replicas of Beanie Babies that range from large to jumbo sized.

Baby Ty

Baby Ty’s are a cuddly and adorable baby and toddler range introduced in 1999. They’re perfect for toddlers and babies due to their hidden seam construction, stitched eyes and short coat! Our favourite Baby Ty toys include Doodles the Seal and Squirt the Seal.

Beanie Boos

Ty Beanie Boos are stuffed animals with huge sparkly glistening eyes and look fantastic! Beanie Boo features animals (and mythical creatures, like our friend Grindal the Dragon) with more colour and less realism. They’re extremely popular with children as their eyes are just so inviting! The range also includes Beanie Boo Clips which are smaller Boo’s that can be attached to your keyring, school bag or anywhere you like!
