Some of these words can be phonetically decoded while others – known as tricky words – can’t and need to be memorised. Sight Word Swat is a fun, fast-paced game that helps young readers build confidence in this essential aspect of reading and literacy learning. Players use child-sized fly swatters to swat the fly cards with the correct sight word answers to the questions that are called out. The player with the most flies at the end of the round wins!
